CBS News Video
The disability claim process can be nightmarish, and Disability Assistance, LLC is here to help. In order to draw Congressional attention to the plight of the disabled community, I was privileged to share my and my clients' experiences with the Social Security disability process with CBS news in January of 2008.
When Should You Contact Us?
If you are no longer able to work, are considering applying for Social Security disability benefits, or have already applied and been denied, please contact me to assist you with your claim. We represent claimants who apply for SSDI, SSI, and other social security matters having to do primarily with the disability process. Click here to contact us now.
The Application Process...
The application process is complicated, and many people who apply (approximately two-thirds) are denied at the first step. Of those that ask for reconsideration, only 15% are approved nationwide, and only 10% are approved in Georgia. A significant percentage of claimants must appear before an Administrative Law Judge before they finally receive their benefits. At every stage, those who are represented by a qualified and experienced professional have a better chance of being approved. For that reason, we believe the vast majority of claimants would benefit from hiring a professional representative to advocate for them.
Please note that we are not a legal firm. We are experienced professionals, specializing in Social Security disability matters. By law, we am authorized by the Social Security Administration to handle all matters relating to disability claims from the initial application through the Appeals Council stage. Through our participation in a special Demonstration Project, we have been authorized by the Social Security Administration to have my fees withheld and paid directly.
